Arthur James ‘Jim’ Rousell joined the Corps as a Direct Entrant in 1958, finally retiring as a Warrant Officer Class 1 in 1980. His active service is recorded by the Cyprus, Radfan, South Arabia, Borneo and Northern Ireland Clasps to his two General Service Medals. He was also awarded the Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal by the Malay Government.
In retirement Jim maintained his ties with the Corps by becoming the Int Corps Association Regional Secretary for the London, Middlesex and Surrey region. He died in 2009. His medals were donated to the museum by his sister in 2019.
